We are living in the year 2127.
Recent advances in technology and space travel have meant that small organisations like ours now have access to methods of translocation previously inaccessible due to the cost of manufacture and skill base. Robot technology has now advanced to the point where almost all construction can be completed by mechanical, synthetic or nano organisms. Power is provided by new micro fusion cores that are both safe and almost free to run (a small tax is taken by central government). By-products from core reactions are now beneficial to our environment.
Although dimensions 5 and 6 have been cleared as stable by the Central Science Directive (CSD), it is still Terran law that any entry into either dimension must be masked by our version of what old world settlers would call ‘white noise’. This is to avoid raising any issues with the Venarthian Council (VC) who have already warned us that they have been policing the 5th and most of the 6th dimensions for what we may extrapolate to be 47 billion years. We are urged to be mindful that time does not operate in quite the same way in both the 5th and 6th dimensions. Remember from your early learning that within our multiverse paradigm, dimensions 5 and 6, and likely 7, cross over many if not all Branes.
The VC have also helped warn us of, but also protect us from the 7th dimension. We understand that the VC know an awful lot more than they tell us, but just like our own ‘infant worlds’ policy, they have rules in place to protect less evolved species.
